In lesson planning there are different categories that needs to be covered in order to have a great lesson plan. Below will provide you an example on how a lesson plan should be written.





Title: Lesson Planning

●You should always have a title of what you are doing, for example; announce the topic.





Author: Felix Jean

● Explain to the readers who wrote the plan or the instructions





Overview:

●An overview is a quick summary and or a general summary or review of a subject and/or topic.





Objective:

●A description of what a student does that forms the basis for making inference about learning.

●Write the focus point of the lesson plan or particular content to which to which the objectives will relate.

● Provide certain criteria for constructing an assessment for the lesson.





Resource/Material:

●This a reminder of the materials that are need to complete this assignment/ a statement of what a student needs to know or be able to do to succeed and accomplish the lesson objective

●Keeping the list of materials in lie with what you actually plan to do for yourself and student

●Have extra copies of worksheets, extra material that is being used for the assignment





Activities and Procedures:

●This section provides a detailed, step by step description of how to replicate the lesson and achieve the lesson plan objective

●This section usually divided into several sections to make it easier to understand and follow the instructions such as; an introduction, a main activity, and conclusion
