reflection #6

With the advance technology this day, it is more convenient to access varies activities, assignment and programs. Those creations affect every aspect in our society. It would have taken about a month to communicate with friends and family a century ago. Now a day it takes only a second to communicate with the entire world. As our educational system tends to evaluate with technology, computer has a great effect on our student by facilitate them to have access at information. From this modern invention, educators come with the telecollaborative learning. What is telecollaborative lesson? How it could be beneficial for our student?
In order to succeed in life with all this technology around us, it is an imperative to inform us about what is going on in this world. That is the main purpose of the telecollaborative lesson. In this lesson, Student work more in a group, but with a wider vision. They are not limited environmentally which mean they will get the opportunity to communicate with others student through the internet. Different subjects could be attributed to the group. As I mention earlier, student in another country, city, school, etc. can be a part of the group’s activities. Teachers also are not limited to communicating with only teacher around them locally. They could give an assignment to a student that is located in any other country without necessarily being there physically. The important part of the telecollaborative lesson is that student is well informed of what is going on around them. Such lesson gives access to knowledge which is the key of success.
To summarize, telecollaborative learning is considered to be proportional to the development technologic. With the invention of internet, our kids are well informing because they have the opportunity to understand different techniques, customs, religions, and traditions of other student living in different parts of the world.
